We’re all feeling the weight of spending too much time at home by now.

For many of us, working from home felt like a dream when companies switched to remote in early 2020. We were finally able to work in pajamas, skip the daily commute, and avoid awkward interactions with coworkers at the coffee machine.

In the months that followed, however, many of us began to miss the office life a bit. Getting dressed in something other than sweatpants in the morning, traveling to the office, seeing humans every day. Ya know, the little things.

As a full-time freelancer, I have tested out countless coworking spaces around the world. Prior to the pandemic, I used to visit a new coworking space in New York City every week just to have a change of scenery. Nowadays, I stick with one coworking space to avoid the subway and traveling around NYC, but this article will share my past experiences using coworking spaces for those who need a change of scenery right now.
